Neocivil has been awarded the general infrastructure and parking area development contract for zone 3 of the second phase of the Vilamoura Urbanisation Plan, valued at a total of 6.7 million Euros.
This works contract, adjacent to the existing Marina de Vilamoura, is part of the New Lusort Project – the Lacustre City, enhancing the original project's overall value due to its innovative design, with the intention of establishing itself as a central hub for attracting tourists.
Work is already underway, having a scheduled project leadtime of twenty seven months, after which the development area will then have full infrastructure support, enabling future development and construction work to go ahead.
General water supply and power infrastructures are to be constructed as part of the contracted schedule, in addition to telecommunications networks, drainage systems and modern roadways and walkways, over a total flooring area of approximately twenty eight thousand square metres.
Set to get underway during 2012, building of the underground parking area, next to an already constructed area will also include design and implementation of all respective outdoor and landscaping work.
